WW - Rolex Oyster Perpetual Cylinder Hooded Bubbleback, ref 3536, circa 1941, 32mm x 38mm to lug tips, 17.5mm lug width, original highly unusual stainless steel screw back Oyster case with concave bezel and hooded lug extensions, black leather strap, expertly refinished California style dial with luminous painted Arabic and Roman numeral indices, 18J, s#128513, triple signed. Note this watch's dial and hands put off an immense amount of radiation passing 1.0 MR/hour. An incredibly rare bubbleback reference with great proportions and highly unusual case; if you collect vintage Rolex, do not let this watch go!

Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, hardly any oxide to steelwork, light spotting to rotor edge; excellent refinished dial with very light surface spotting and fine scratches; mint blued steel luminous Mercedes hands with light surface spotting; polished case shows very light wear, several light dings on case back; Rolex signed crown shows little wear, good threads; good crystal; resealed for auction.
